Pre-alpha version 0.2.0 is available


This update is intended to bring a number of smaller quality of life upgrades to the game as well as some rebalances to various aspects of it.

What’s new?

  • All UI elements now play sounds when hovered and clicked.
  • The enemy is significantly scarier.
  • If a system reaches a level 3 imbalance, the game is not immediately ended. Instead, the player is shown a timer counting down to the end of the game if they do not fix the level 3 imbalance before the timer reaches the end.
  • Various rebalances to the way the enemy spawns and other aspects of its behavior.

 

What’s on the Horizon?

For the most part, everything I discussed in the first devlog is still on the horizon. The only noteworthy changes to that plan are the fact that I’ve already implemented a number of the minor quality of life changes I mentioned in that devlog.
